Volunteer Opportunities
THANK YOU for your interest in volunteering!
Willow Oak depends on the regular help of many, many volunteers who donate their time and energy to helping in classrooms, developing our outdoor space, raising much-needed funds, and working behind the scenes on policy issues. Please see below for all the ways we can use your help. Feel free to contact volunteer@willowoakmontessori.org with any questions.
Classroom & Campus Volunteering
Teachers rely on classroom volunteers to help out during lunch, recess, and enrichment activities so they can take much-needed lunch breaks and have time to plan with their co-workers. We also occasionally need parent help with office tasks like laminating or cutting or driving assistance for field trips (when they start up again). If you are interested in being a volunteer for any of these kind of activities, please fill out the below Google Form to let us know your availability and preferences. Even if you're not able to help on a regular basis, please add your name to the volunteer list and we will call on you when we have one-off needs. Please note that classroom volunteers will all be asked to submit information for a background check.

Outdoor Environment Volunteering
Do you have a green thumb? Or maybe a wheelbarrow or a shovel? Or even just a little extra energy to get our outdoor environment looking like the one in the plans? Please join us on the third Saturday of the month for a community work day! Come anytime 9am until 4pm!
Staff Support and Morale Boosters
There are a number of opportunities throughout the year to give a little boost to our staff. From workday lunches to goodie bags to staff appreciation week, opportunities and links will be posted here for the community to sign up and participate.
PTA Opportunities
Our PTA officers are four busy working-full time moms who fit in PTA work on evenings/weekends, and early mornings. We need extra hands to accomplish all the things we want to do this year! Please consider signing up to lead or be a part of one of the subcommittees below.
